The men’s hockey team (10-4-1) fell to Erie Community College (12-9), 3-2, on Saturday afternoon and 5-3 on Sunday afternoon.
On Saturday, the Vikings took an early 2-0 lead in the first period, but Erie evened it up in the second, and scored in the third to earn the win. William Inman (Brattleboro Union/Brattleboro, VT) and Nick Carrizzo (John Jay/Hopewell Junction) both scored for the Vikings in the loss.
Nick Dennis (Shaker/Latham), Liam McDonough (Northeastern Clinton/Rouses Point), and Matt Wagner (LaSalle Institute/Clifton Park) each scored in the loss on Sunday.
The Vikings travel to Monroe next Saturday for a game at 7:30 p.m.
