The CET congratulates Alice M. Busman

The CET is proud to announce that Alice M. Busman, program assistant to the department chair for Fine Arts, Theatre Arts, Broadcast, and Digital Media, has successfully completed the requirements for the Certificate of Leadership Development. She continues to work on certification in Academic Advising and in Teaching and Learning. Alice will be formally recognized for her achievement at this year’s Faculty and Staff Honors Convocation.

At the time of her completion of this certificate, she had only been with the college for four years. Within that time she has also been the very proud recipient of the Meritorious Service Award.  Alice consistently continues to provide an exceptional work ethic and high level of service. She enjoys working closely with students, going the extra mile to meet their needs and concerns. She continually receives great admiration from the students while also maintaining a positive rapport with parents, faculty and staff.

She works passionately as an animal rights advocate, and supports the outstanding work and accomplishments of the colleges Animal Outreach Club. She recently stepped down as a NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. But, she still continues to help her special needs menagerie at home.

Please join us in congratulating Alice for her accomplishment, as well as wishing her a Happy Birthday on Wednesday, March 5.
