I will be collecting cell phones for recycling on Wedneday, April 30 during the Sustainablity Committee’s Earth Day Fair in the Campus Center.
If you have an old cell phone that you want to recycle, please drop it off in the box. The company I recycle with will sometimes pay us for the phone if it is a newer usable phone. Phones must have power adapters and sim cards in order to qualify. Proceeds from this will go to the College Food Pantry.
The recycling company donates usable phones to domestic violence victims. If the phone is not usable, you still can drop it off as they will recycle them for free. You will be helping two groups in need with just one donation!
