Faculty member John Ostwald, who has been actively involved in veteran’s issues, was asked to speak about healing for veterans with PTSD and other emotional challenges, at the April 30 Veterans Summit hosted by New York State Industries for the Disabled.
A Vietnam-era veteran, Ostwald serves as the higher education liaison for Soldier’s Heart, a non-profit organization that focuses on creating a network of community-based services to facilitate a healthier and more successful reintegration of our nation’s veterans. He also writes and speaks about issues veterans face when returning from deployment.
