Faculty: Consider Voices lecture topics when completing fall syllabi

The fall 2014 Voices lecture series schedule is now on the Hudson Valley calendar of events for faculty members who want to work the lectures into their syllabi for fall and promote student attendance. Two lectures are presented during the day each month from September to November.

On the theme of overcoming struggles, fall topics are wrongful prison convictions, achieving a low-carbon lifestyle, the decline of the monarch butterfly, parenting a transgendered child, stories of WWII veterans from Amsterdam and the history of mummies on display at the Albany Institute of History and Art.

The college staff also is encouraged to attend these free talks.
