Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that tuition reimbursement for employees has been restored in the 2014-15 college budget. In the past, this was available for courses taken only at SUNY institutions, but starting this fall, reimbursement will be offered for courses taken for credit at any nationally or regionally accredited college. Reimbursement is for 50% of SUNY in-state tuition only (no fees) for up to six credits per semester, with funds available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For Fall 2014 and Spring 2015, the reimbursement rate per semester will be:
— $82.50 per credit/$495 maximum (6 credits): Associate’s degrees and credit-bearing certificates taken at other colleges
— $128.50 per credit/$771 maximum (6 credits): Bachelor’s degrees
— $216 per credit/$1,296 maximum (6 credits): Master’s degrees and PhDs
— $275.50 per credit/$1,653 maximum (6 credits): MBA program
— $247.50 per credit/$1,485 maximum (6 credits): MSW program
All you need to do is to register and pay for the course(s), and send copies of the registration and payment receipt to my assistant, Suzanne Kalkbrenner.
