Special Seating in Classrooms
The Center for Access and Assistive Technology in conjunction with Physical Plant often deploys specialized seating and padded chairs that are placed in classrooms for students with disabilities. If seating is removed, the college is no longer in ADA Compliance. It is imperative that the chairs placed in classrooms not be removed. We are trying to avoid broadcasting this information with signs on the chairs.
The Center for Access and Assistive Technology would like to request your help. If you notice that specialized chairs have been removed or inadvertently switched from your classroom, please notify the Center for Access and Assistive Technology staff immediately at629-7154.
