A recent article on the NYS School Boards Association website offers a look at the newly-launched Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-Tech) programs in Troy and Ballston Spa. Hudson Valley Community College is a P-Tech partner in both school districts.
The state program funds 16 P-TECH schools throughout the state. State education officials estimate that more than 800 freshmen embarked this fall on a six-year educational journey that offers them the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and a college associate degree through a P-TECH program.
