Congratulations to Matt Alvey, Hudson Valley Community College’s head ice hockey coach, who will be inducted into the Lake Superior State University Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 as a member of the 1994 NCAA Championship Laker hockey team.
The team is being inducted for capturing the third NCAA title for GLSU in less than a decade after beating Boston University 9-1 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Here is a link to the official announcement: http://www.lssu.edu/glsw/hof2014.php.
