I am selling a Motorola SURFboard Cable Modem (SB-5101u) — this works for TimeWarner and this is what you are paying $6/month for as a “modem fee.” Buy this, install it by moving the co-axial cable and ethernet cables from their modem to yours and then call TW and remove the fee.
This one is in great shape; brand new when I got it. Does not work with Internet phone, which is why I am selling it. : )
