Faculty Mentors
Several experienced faculty members serve as “mentors” to other instructors and staff members, and are scheduled to be available a few hours each week for one-on-one assistance on specific issues with which employees may want some help. From pedagogical/teaching and learning topics to working with specific networks or software, the collective skills of the faculty mentors are at your disposal on an as-needed basis.
The mentor schedule for the remainder of the Fall semester is as follows:
- Mondays at noon: Kyra Garrigue
- Tuesdays at noon: Michael Such
- Wednesdays at noon: Milt Connors
- Thursdays at 9 a.m.: Tony Podlaski
- Fridays at 1 p.m.: Milt Connors
- Our “Mentor on the Move:” Mary Beth Farr also is available for specific assistance on request.
Scheduled mentors can be found in the Faculty Resource Room and interested colleagues are encouraged to take advantage of this helpful college initiative.
Professional Development Workshops:
The schedule of available faculty and staff workshops can be found on the CET Calendar. We are always seeking ideas for new training opportunities. If you have expertise that you’d like to share, financial stipends may be available for new workshop development and delivery. Interested colleagues are encouraged to investigate the Workshop Proposal RFP process.
Specialized/Customized Training & Support:
If you or your office has specific training needs, this brief request form will put the process in motion.
Let us know how we can be of assistance and feel free to benefit from our expertise. We are here to help!
