Campus peace officer saves a life in Whitehall

Jason Vandenburgh, a campus peace officer who also works as a patrolman in the Whitehall Police Department, saved someone from a possibly fatal heroin overdose by using a narcan kit. The Glens Falls Post Star reported on the recent incident.

Many of Hudson Valley Community College’s peace officers received training earlier this year in the proper use of the narcan kits.
