Hudson Valley Community College’s “Bold Conversation” television campaign has earned a gold award in the international Davey Awards competition for 2014. Davey Awards honor “the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.”
“This year’s Davey Award winners truly embody the idea of small firms with big ideas. The work entered into this year’s competition reflects a smart approach to creativity that highlights the capabilities and talents of small agencies worldwide,” said Linda Day, executive director of the Davey Awards.
The award was presented to the Smith & Jones Idea Agency, the Sturbridge, MA-based firm that has been the college’s advertising agency since August 2011. Smith & Jones works with the offices of Communications and Marketing, Enrollment Management and Student Development, Graphics and Printing Services, and Viking Video Technologies to create and produce the college’s television commercials.
