New York State Commissioner of Civil Service Jerry Boone will visit campus on Friday, Jan. 30 to deliver Governor Cuomo’s 2015 Budget Presentation.
For the past several years, the campus has hosted this regional budget presentation by a high ranking Cuomo administration representative. Boone will speak at 11:30 a.m. in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center, Meeting Room 3. The campus community and the public are invited to attend.
Boone, who has served in his current position since 2012, previously served as the Solicitor General in the New York State Attorney General’s Office from 1991 to 1994. He was the state’s chief appellate lawyer, litigation manager and bond counsel. Prior to his tenure as Solicitor General, Boone was the Assistant Attorney General in Charge of the Real Property Bureau in New York City and Albany, as well as Assistant Attorney General in the Litigation Bureau.
