Foundation Friday: Board of Directors holds its first meeting for 2015

On Wednesday, Jan. 28, the Foundation’s Board of Directors met for the first time this year. A major priority of the board is to transition from its strategic plan to implementation. The Foundation’s strategic plan will purposefully align with the strategic plan of the college.

The board reviewed the excellent work of its committees: scholarship, finance, development, governance and audit. Members also approved two incoming directors — Mary McLoughlin ’92, managing partner, McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, and Steven Kasselman ’11, vice president of Kasselman Electric Co., Inc. and president and founder of Kasselman Solar, LLC. These are two very committed alumni that we hope you get the pleasure to know. And as we inducted new members to the board, it was time for others to step down: Douglas Baldrey, William Fagan ’73, Wynn Kintz, Michael Misenhimer, Peter Semenza ’84, and John Shartrand.

The board is excited for a year of growing collaboration with the college and getting to know all the members of the campus community that make this institution a wonderful place for all our students.
