The State University of New York’s third annual Mascot Madness, a month-long social media-driven competition between SUNY campuses to name New York’s favorite campus mascot, has begun on the Generation SUNY Blog.
In Round 1, Hudson Valley’s Viking is in the running against SUNY Farmingdale’s Ram-bo, so we need the campus community, alumni and other supporters to vote for the Viking!
Last year’s campaign drove a half-million new visitors to the system’s website, www.suny.edu.
This year’s competition includes 40 SUNY mascots who will vie for supporters’ votes in a single-elimination, bracket-style competition online.
