Evocative developed an innovative way to turn backyard fungi into a biodegradable material that can be used as a responsible alternative to packaging and insulation.

The Animal Outreach Club at Hudson Valley Community College and New York State Humane Association are excited to present the well-renowned documentary “Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret.” Anyone who cares about the environment and animals needs to see this documentary. Opening remarks will be made by Kathy Stevens, Founder and Director of the Catskill Animal Sanctuary and former educator.
Invasive Species – Coming to a Community Near You

Laurel R. Gailor, coordinator of the Mohawk Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM), provides a general overview of invasive species in the Capital/Mohawk Region. Information will include updates from research institutes and the Invasive Species Council, as well as a summary of citizen participatory activities, including IMapInvasives, science projects, internships and other research projects.
Sustainability Fair
Thursday, April 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Siek Campus Center
