Update on Marvin Library Learning Commons services

 

Faculty, staff, and students:

As a result of weekend flooding in the lower level of the Marvin Library Learning Commons, the following services and staff are temporarily relocated until further notice.

Learning Assistance Center (LAC): Available in the Multipurpose Room, second floor. Workshops and Write All Night are cancelled.

Collegiate Academic Support Services (CASP):  Available in MRV224 on the second floor.

Computer Learning Center (CLC): Available in Computer Cafe, located on the first floor of Siek Campus Center. Note that ACE computers are also available in the Writing and Research Center on the second floor. The laptop lending service is available from the first floor service desk.

Instructional Media Center (IMC): Available at the library’s first floor service desk; items will be retrieved from the IMC collection. Multimedia rooms are not available at this time; updates regarding availability of specialized equipment will be provided at a later time.

Flexible Learning Space (FLS): Any scheduled instruction in that area will be relocated. Individual faculty will be notified of the rescheduled location.

Learning Disabilities Services: Any student needing to meet with Learning Disabilities staff should contact Doreen McGreevy at 629-7274.
