Students who graduate from college may qualify for the opportunity to enroll in affordable health care coverage, according to information from the NYS Department of Health.
NY State of Health, the state’s health plan marketplace, is where New Yorkers can shop, compare and enroll in a quality, affordable health plan and qualify for financial assistance to reduce their costs.
Students who qualify have 60 days from the date of graduation or other qualifying life event to use a special enrollment period.
