The CRJ Club would like to acknowledge and thank all of the Hudson Valley Community College students, faculty, and staff who participated in the Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault and Gender Violence.
The annual events was held April 25 in downtown Troy under sponsorship by Samaritan Hospital.
We also would like to thank the Student Activities Office and the Student Senate, who helped support our participation in the event.
We had a terrific turnout with almost 50 Hudson Valley participants including Football Coach Mike Muehling and our very own Viking mascot!
The CRJ Club has participated in this event the last several years as part of an effort to bring awareness to this important issue. This year we collaborated with Coach Muehling, the Black and Latino Student Union, the Cheerleading Club and Chartwells. It was a fantastic event and we are already looking forward to next year!
