The Marvin Library will offer a talk on researching historic clothing at noon on Tuesday, May 5, in the library room 143.
The talk will cover an introduction to issues in studying historic clothing, online and print resources, and the role of social media in developing a costuming community. People interested in re-creating historical clothing for the theater or their own use are especially welcome.
The talk is presented by Anne Matusiewicz, this semester’s library intern. Anne has been a costumer since 2002 and a living historian since 2008. She is finishing her master’s degree in Information Science at the University of Albany.
