Time is running out, so don’t delay any longer or you’ll miss this opportunity to learn the important basics about AutoCAD and how it can help you do what you need to do! There are only a few more days left to register before class begins!
If you are interested in a building-related field and want to learn about design, get started by taking this 30-hour, in-person, non-credit class with the Workforce Development Institute (WDI). Created for individuals who are interested in learning the fundamentals of design using AutoCAD software, the course is appropriate for those either currently enrolled in HVCC or already working in a building-related field.
The topics in this overview of AutoCAD include software tools and how to use them for specific design tasks such as:
- 2D drawings
- Custom templates
- CAD plotting and layout
- Advanced CAD commands including file management, blocks, x-refs and the creation of libraries
- Complex drawings
The course runs from May 9 – May 30, 2015.
