I write this morning to inform the Campus Community of the passing of a long-time Physical Plant employee, John Pignatelli.
John retired in 2001, having worked in our Grounds Department for 33 years. Those who remember John will recall that he always brought a smile to the face of everyone he came in contact with. He was a very kind and gentle person, who always demonstrated a caring attitude.
His funeral will be from the Thomas S Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynanskill, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m from St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wynanskill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 -7 p.m.
