My grandson, David Wingate, is participating in a dual meet tournament at Albany Academy on May 23 in honor of a deceased wrestler, Sol Jochnowitz-Kahn, and is looking for contributions.
Sol died of Leukemia in the fall of 2006 shortly after graduation from high school. He was a member of the host team, The New York Titan Westling Club, of which David is a member.
The tournament is called “The Match Against Leukemia” and all proceeds from the tournament will be given to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of New York.
David will have seven matches during the tournament. Please help in defeating leukemia by contributing. This is a match none of us can afford to lose, so he promises to give his best and hopefully you will too.
