College recognized by Capital Region YMCA

 

The college will be recognized at the annual Black and Latino Achievers Award Dinner of the Capital Region YMCA on Tuesday, June 2. Director of Student Life Louis Coplin, Assistant Director of Student Life Alfredo Balarin and others will represent the college at the dinner.

The Achievers program is premier college and career readiness program for youth of color, with a focus on African American and Hispanic youth through dedicated and committed engagement by volunteer professionals.

The college will be recognized and honored at the Achievers banquet as a corporate partner. The Y staff expressed that the college “has been a huge support and resource to the teens in our program. You are always so willing to assist in any way possible and we can’t thank you all enough for your support.”
