It is with great sadness that I share news of the passing of Sr. Nancy Langhart on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.
A member of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God based in Pittsburgh, PA, Sr. Nancy served as Campus Chaplain from 2006 to 2011. After leaving Hudson Valley Community College, she returned to her religious community’s Motherhouse where she served in the counseling program. Her funeral was held on Tuesday, Aug. 18 in the Motherhouse Chapel in Pittsburgh. Here is her obituary.
Sr. Nancy was a warm, welcoming presence to students, staff, and faculty. She always remembered her time here fondly and cared deeply about the campus community.
