The English, Foreign Languages, and English as a Second Language Department is pleased to announce that Rosetta Stone, a powerful learning software that provides students with an immersive, interactive and engaging language-learning experience, is now available to Hudson Valley students enrolled in one or more foreign language course.
Key features of the program include advanced speech recognition technology, speech analysis tools, grammar and spelling components and a milestone feature which simulates real-life situations in which to practice the language.
The online Rosetta Stone program is available for the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, English as a Second Language, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish.
