EOC celebrates Homecoming in honor of its 50th anniversary

 

The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center will host HOMECOMING the week of January 25-29 in honor of its 50th anniversary. The EOC will sponsor spirit week activities for all staff and students, and an alumni reception for all EOC alumni.

Troy Events
Monday, Jan. 25 — Crazy Hair Day
— Wear your hair as crazy as you like! Hair styling available in Cosmetology from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for those who would like some help.
— 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Photo Booth and snacks in Sharp Hall
Tuesday, Jan. 26 — Team Blue Day
— Wear EOC blue!
— Noon-1 p.m. — Meet the Academic Coaches for three mini workshops on study skills in the TEC Room
— Noon-1 p.m. — Tailgating-themed lunch in Spoons ($3 or $5, as usual)
Wednesday, Jan. 27 — Hero Day
— Wear your favorite Super Hero t-shirt!
— 11 a.m.-noon — “Who’s Your Hero?” in the Student Lounge Students can share a short piece on who is their hero and why (snack sandwiches available)
Thursday, Jan. 28 — Alumni Reception
— All alumni are invited to attend!
— 4-6 p.m. in Sharp Hall
— The event will include an exhibit and light refreshments. (We will have EOC packets for alumni and will be gathering alumni information.)
Friday, Jan. 29m — Homecoming Day!
— 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Ice cream sundae bar in Spoons
— All-week Trivia Contest & Scavenger Hunt end at noon!

Albany Events
Monday, Jan. 25 —  Crazy Hair Day!
