The Center for Access and Assistive Technology (CAAT) would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the services we provide to students, staff and faculty with disabilities at Hudson Valley Community College.
** Extended Hours
Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Center for Access and Assistive Technology will continue extended hours (see above) during the academic semester. These extended hours give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to utilize our adaptive computer lab, receive training on the assistive technology and testing accommodations, and to provide evening students and faculty access to the Center for Access and Assistive Technology.
** CAAT Publications
The following brochures are available: Center for Access and Assistive Technology, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, and Policies & Guidelines for Alternative Testing Services. Please contact the CAAT at 629-7154 and we will mail them to you. These publications provide helpful information for college faculty and staff to ensure access to college programs and activities for individuals with disabilities.
** Please note that the Learning Disabilities Office and the CAAT have merged. All disability services now are located in the CAAT. Donna Totaro, assistant director/LD specialist, is happy to assist you with any questions you have regarding learning disabilities.
