My wife, Barbara, and I want you to know that our elder daughter, Maria, passed into the arms of Jesus Christ on Saturday after a short battle with cancer.
Some of you may remember Maria since she spent her sophomore year at Hudson Valley Community College (2005-2006) and also played on the tennis team.
If you did not have a chance to meet Maria, just know she was a unique child who brought kindness and love into every situation. Barbara and I, and our younger daughter, Katrina, will miss her terribly.
