Mastering Essentials of Grammar and Punctuation — online Sprint class open for spring

 

The English, Foreign Languages, and English as a Second Language Department has opened an online sprint section of Mastering Essentials of Grammar and Punctuation for spring 2016.

A command of English grammar, usage, and punctuation is essential for success both in academia and the workplace. This course provides students with an overview of the conventions of Standard American English with a goal of improving written communication skills. This is a one-credit course and fulfills the Gen. Ed. Communication requirement. Please note: this is not a remedial course. It is strongly recommended that students who take this course have successfully completed Composition I.
