Chartwells leaving campus at semester’s end

Chartwells Dining Services, the college’s food service vendor since 2004, will end its era on campus in late May.

In response to Chartwells’ decision to move on, the Faculty Student Association (FSA) has issued a request for proposals and hopes to welcome a new vendor to campus by June, according to Ann Carrozza, FSA executive director. Nearly 10 companies attended a vendors’ information session in February.

Chartwells currently operates the Siek Campus Center Food Court, and cafés in the Marvin Library Learning Commons and Williams Hall. It also provides catering and concessions for special and athletic events on campus.
