Nominate a Teacher for the
PRESIDENT’S AWARD FOR
EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING!
Criteria:
— Exceptional teaching, demonstrated by innovative, student-centered methods.
— Effort and performance that goes above and beyond what is expected.
Eligibility:
Any current full-time or adjunct member of the Hudson Valley Community College faculty may be nominated.
To nominate:
— Organize a packet with other students for the chosen professor, specifically stating how he/she meets the criteria.
— Your packet should include multiple letters of support from students, faculty, department chair, and staff.
— Don’t forget to include the organizer’s name, address, phone and email address in the packet.
(A checklist is available in Brahan 088 to help in compiling your nomination packet.)
