Academic Senate survey distributed to faculty and staff today, April 18

Welcome to the headlong rush to the end of the academic year and Commencement!

As part of the Institutional Effectiveness process, we are asking you to take a few minutes to respond to the Academic Senate Survey, to which the campus community will be receiving an email link today, April 18.

The college’s Academic Senate, in response to a 2014 Middle States Self-Study Recommendation and a recommendation from the 2014 Middle States Site Visit Team, has developed a formal process to assess the effectiveness, structure, and function of the college’s Academic Senate and Standing Committees.

Part of the Academic Senate assessment process includes a campus-wide survey eliciting faculty and staff satisfaction with and understanding of the Academic Senate. Your participation in the survey is very important and greatly appreciated. It is a short survey and will take only a few minutes of your time. Please keep in mind that the survey is totally anonymous — there is no way to link it to respondents. Also, if you are unable to complete it electronically or prefer not to complete it electronically, you may print it out, fill it in, and send it via interoffice mail to ADM 220.

Thank you.
