While they last, free children’s tickets are available for the Garden Brothers Circus at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24.
Show times are 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1, 3:30 and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Garden Brothers Circus, which also produces the ever-popular Ice Capades, has been entertaining families throughout North America for more than 100 years. This year’s show promises 1 and 1/2 hours of excitement and fun: motorcycle daredevils somersaulting and spinning in a Globe of Doom, Chinese acrobats, the Human Slingshot, racing camels, crazy comedy with circus clowns, daring aerialists and more. This will be the last year elephants tour with the show, according promotional materials.
To claim the free tickets — which each admit one child under 13 with a paid adult — please e-mail Debby Gardner at d.gardner@hvcc.edu. Only a limited number are available, so don’t delay!
