15 Minutes Max Student Film Festival: submission deadline is May 13 at 11:59 pm!

 

Now in its fifth year, the goal of the 15 Minutes Max Student Film Festival is to showcase and celebrate the best films produced by area students, while encouraging everyone to take an interest in film production and viewing. We want to give students from diverse disciplines and institutions the opportunity to exhibit their work and engage in a community dialog.

Please announce the festival in your classes and encourage students to submit by the deadline: Friday, May 13 at 11:59pm.

— Festival is from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 201615minmaxfestival_16_smallposter
— The festival is juried with prizes of $50-$200 available
— Films have a run time of 15 minutes or less
— Films can be submitted by any student enrolled in any high school, college, or university within a 50-mile radius of The College of Saint Rose
— Films can explore any topic within these genres: fiction, documentary, non-narrative, animation, photo roman, and music video
— Films must adhere to the PG-13 rating system
— Films cannot include material under copyright, whether graphic or music, unless written permission is granted by copyright owner
— Films must abide by the Center of Social Media’s Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Online Video
— Only one submission per filmmaker
— Deadline for submitting films is Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:59pm
