Blackboard End of Summer 2016 Semester Procedures
Student Access to Blackboard
- Students will begin to lose access to Summer 2016 courses after 11:59 pm on Friday, Aug. 12.
- Fall 2016 courses will become available to students the morning of Aug. 29, 2016.
Faculty Access to Blackboard
Blackboard will be unavailable from Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 12:01 a.m. through Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 at 4 p.m. for the transition to SaaS. Please see the Campus Chronicle article for details.
Incompletes
- All Summer 2016 students given a grade of I (Incomplete) will be able to access the Summer 2016 courses again in Blackboard after grades are posted by the Registrar.
- Students who have an I (Incomplete) will remain enrolled in their Summer 2016 Blackboard course until either the grade converts or 30 days into the Fall 2016 semester.
- If faculty have assigned any student a grade of I (Incomplete), they must make their Summer 2016 course set to be “Available” in the Course Settings area in the Control Panel or the student will not be able to access it.
