Library Liaison Program
A liaison librarian is assigned to work with each academic department. The role of the liaison is to collaborate with faculty in the selection, evaluation, and utilization of library resources.

Instructional Services
The Library Instruction Program orients and instructs classes on the resources, facilities, and services of the library. Classes are tailored to meet the instructor’s objectives.

Circulation Services
Current employees, emeriti, retirees, and College in the High School faculty. Must present a valid HVCC ID (or a government-issued photo ID with proof of employee status).

Recommendations for new purchases are considered with respect to how the material supports current or planned curricular needs.

Request to Place Library Items on Reserve

Access to Other Libraries
Hudson Valley Community College employees and students benefit directly from several memberships and associations which provide direct access to many other libraries.

Marvin Library’s Role in Prevention and Detection of Plagiarism

Copyright
Hudson Valley Community College has designated a Copyright Officer to receive faculty inquiries, statutory notices from copyright owners about infringements and to send statutory notices to affected subscribers

Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research
Nominate a student for recognition for outstanding scholarship.

College Authors and Artists Collection
Share your authored or creative works for this permanent archival collection.

Multipurpose Room (MPR) Reservation
When the MPR is not currently or expected to be reserved for instruction, employees may request access for one-time events. The MPR may not be reserved for regularly scheduled classes or meetings.
