2016 Institutional Effectiveness Report available to campus community

As part of the college’s Institutional Effectiveness cycle, the Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness Committee prepares an annual report examining the institutional effectiveness of Hudson Valley Community College. This report looks at the college’s performance on a set of core indicators (e.g. graduation rate, retention, enrollment, student and employee satisfaction, diversity, campus safety, etc.), as well as progress on various college-wide plans (Strategic Directions and Priorities, Strategic Enrollment Plan, Strategic Technology Plan) and Middle States Self-Study recommendations, General Education, and the use of assessment results, and makes recommendations regarding findings/issues that need to be addressed.

The 2016 Institutional Effectiveness Report now is available to members of the Hudson Valley community on the college’s Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness webpage under Plans and Reports:

https://www.hvcc.edu/assessment/index.html

Please take a moment to review the report and see how we are engaged in “a continuous process of planning, outcome assessment, and resource allocation to determine how well the college is achieving its mission and goals.”
