The Dwight Marvin Library offers approximately 50 closed caption, concise instructional videos, created by college librarians that extend our classroom instruction to the Internet.
Topics include Library College Forum, integrating library resources in Blackboard, website evaluation, finding a journal article, copying and formatting a citation, and review of library research databases such as Academic Search Complete, CQ Researcher, DynaMed, JSTOR, to name just a few.
Browse video recommendations by course or by subject. Perfect for review, distance students, and other academic purposes!

If you are a faculty member interested in scheduling classroom instruction, please contact Bob Matthews at r.matthews@hvcc.edu. If you would like the librarians to create videos for your course, please contact Katie Jezik at k.jezik@hvcc.edu to discuss options.
