Are you or a family member suffering from Lyme Disease?
While Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases are increasing in this area, many people living with Lyme and co-infections are often misdiagnosed. In some cases, in spite of efforts to find adequate medical help, people are left untreated and become severely disabled from this disease. The varying symptoms of Lyme disease can make proper diagnosis elusive, and the tests and treatments have become very controversial within the medical community. Since the identification, understanding and treatments are sources of great confusion to these medical professionals, it is no wonder many patients and their families are confused.
A few employees, including Sue Killgallon, Jill Palmer-Wood and Joan Russo, are planning to get together during lunch hour and talk about their experiences with Lyme disease.
Anyone wishing to join the group is welcome on Friday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. in the Hudson Hall conference room, Room 130. Bring your lunch.
