Casey Ryan, a full-time instructor in the Criminal Justice, Forensic Science and Public Administration Department, presented her research on two topics at the American Society of Criminology conference in November: (1) Law enforcement’s use of Twitter as a non-investigative tool, and (2) Language the media uses to discuss youth who engage in sexting behavior.
The theme of the 2016 conference, held in New Orleans, was “The Many Colors of Crime & Justice.”
