Recycled CDTA bus swiper cards make lovely ornaments! You can learn how!

Happy New Year!

I have some interesting news to share. Before Christmas I went to the CDTA Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RideCDTA/) and sent a message with photos of  Christmas (and non-Christmas) ornaments I’d made with recycled CDTA bus pass swiper cards.

A few days later, CDTA asked if they could post the photos on their facebook page. If you would like to see the photos click on the link above and page down until you see the photos. A mix of the crafts I made also is shown below for those who cannot view Facebook. You are welcome to pass this on to others.
If you are interested in learning some of the crafts I do, I teach classes in:
— recycling bus passes into art (flowers, roses, wreaths, bears, etc.)
— quilling to make cards and other decorative pieces
— recycling used manila file folders into angels, 3D dolls, and other art
— use newspaper, ads/flyers and roll them into tubes for making newspaper weaving flowers and other items
— recycling books (5 inches or smaller with 200-plus pages) into angels, cakes, etc.
— decorate metal spoons by adding paper, lace, and other items
— re-use the brown paper that comes in shipping boxes for deer, mermaids, dolphins and other crafts
— create paper beads for earrings, necklaces from any type of paper and sometimes use nail polish to change their color.
