I am pleased to announce construction on of our new kitchen classroom is complete.

er the course of the fall semester, staff from Physical Plant converted room 135 in the Viking Day Care Center to a residential classroom kitchen.
This new space will allow our office to expand cooking classes and events for community members ranging from children to adults. Our winter/spring course offerings can be found here. Additional offerings also will be available this summer as part of our Kids on Campus program and for adults in our summer Community & Professional Education schedule.
I would like to thank Senior Staff members for their support of this project, as well as staff from Central Receiving, Communications & Marketing, Graphics, Informational Technology Services, Instructional Technology Services, Inventory, Purchasing and last but certainly not least Physical Plant, especially Rich, George and Larry.
