The results of the employee Training Needs Assessment Survey, conducted in late spring 2016, have been posted on the Planning and Research website at https://www.hvcc.edu/secure/staff/planning/surveys/index.html.
The Training Needs Assessment Survey was a follow-up to the Employee Satisfaction Survey items regarding respondent satisfaction with training, satisfaction with provision of technical support and resources, and satisfaction with support for new employees, all of which had declined steadily over the three administrations of the Employee Satisfaction survey (2010, 2013, and 2016). The Training Needs Assessment Survey was intended to identify what types of training our employees need and are interested in participating in, and covered the following areas: Technology, People Skills, Office Functionality, College Policies, and Supervisory/Management Skills. There also were opportunities for respondents to specify training in areas other than those included in the survey.
