The college’s Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, Jan. 24, and I’m pleased to share my report with faculty and staff.
Highlights of the report include:
- Spring enrollment report
- Technology update
- Gov. Cuomo’s executive budget for 2017-2018
- Regina LaGatta, interim executive director of the college Foundation, was appointed to the SUNY Chief Advancement Officers’ Executive Committee, where she will be one of two community college members
Just a quick reminder about the Town Hall meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 2 to 2:30 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium. All are welcome and encouraged to attend to learn more about the project underway to develop a new website for the college. Please join us to meet representatives from iFactory, the college’s web development partner, who will present an overview of the project and discuss strategies and timelines, answer questions and listen to input from faculty, staff and students.
The next regular Board meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 28, and the All College Meeting is Monday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m.
