The Center for Careers and Employment and the Student Activities Office are hosting Completion Day on Thursday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 4. Come hear dynamic speaker Isa Adney’s advice on making the most of Community College in BTC Meeting Room 1 on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 1 – 2 p.m. and Friday 10/4 from 2pm-3pm in Meeting Room 3.
Students who complete an associate degree have better prospects for jobs, scholarships and transfer to four-year schools. Upon completion of an associates degree, students can expect to earn $400,000 more in a life time than a high school graduate. Go on to earn your bachelor’s and the figure is even higher: $900,000. New York Residents who transfer directly from a SUNY two-year college with an associate degree are guaranteed entry to a four-year SUNY college.
Make a commitment to complete your associate degree or certificate program. Students can sign the pledge at the Center for Careers and Employment, located in CTR 260, or at the presentation.
