Organizing meeting Monday, April 3 for Albany’s March for Science

On Monday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m., there will be an organizing meeting for the March for Science in Albany. We will meet in SCI 262 (faculty break room at the southwestern end of the building) and move to a larger room if we need to.

Right now, the schedule for the March for Science (April 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza) will have a large group of informational tables from regional colleges, public schools, and groups for all ages. This will be followed by march near the capital.

Tentative agenda:
— ideas for informational tables (there are several options from on-campus)
— flyer distribution on-campus and around the Capital District
— social media advertisement
— brainstorming and getting more people involved

If you know or suspect other people (faculty, staff or students) that also would  be interested, please pass this meeting time along to them as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Jamey Thompson directly.
