A summary of the 2016 Academic Senate Survey Results now is available to the campus community. The summary includes the survey responses in their entirety.
As you are aware, the college’s Academic Senate, in response to a 2014 Middle States Self-Study Recommendation and a recommendation from the 2014 Middle States Site Visit Team, developed a formal process to assess the effectiveness, structure, and function of the college’s Academic Senate and Standing Committees. One of the pieces in the Academic Senate assessment process was a campus-wide survey eliciting faculty and staff satisfaction with and understanding of the Academic Senate.
To access the Academic Senate Survey Summary, please go to the MyHudsonValley Portal/Blackboard site (http://www.hvcc.edu/faculty-staff.html) and to the Academic Senate link under “My Organizations.” Once in the Academic Senate portal, go the folder labeled “Assessment,” at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
