Friends of Oakwood Daffodil Brunch on April 23

 

The Friends of Oakwood hosts its annual Daffodil Brunch on Sunday, April 23 with seatings at 10 a.m. and noon at the Gardner Earl Chapel, a National Historic Landmark at the cemetery, 186 Oakwood Ave. in Troy.

Reservations are required with $20 per person paid upon arrival on April 23. (Children under 5 are free, but must be included for the seat count which is limited to 100 per seating.)

The brunch buffet includes stuffed French toast, quiches, bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit cups, pastries, carved baked ham plus coffee, tea, juice and a cash bar for mimosas.

Friends of Oakwood (oakwoodcemeterytroyny@gmail.com) is a non-profit volunteer group working to support the preservation and maintenance of the non-sectarian chapel and grounds of this historic and still-active 19th-century cemetery.
